Seven blocks of East 6th from Congress Avenue to Interstate 35 is Austin's entertainment district.
Encompassing E. 5th and 7th Streets as well as various cross-streets,
it is home to numerous clubs and bars and the heart of our live music scene.
Lesson 5. Im playing a show tonight in KC DAMMMIT its good to just be HOME!. High of 91 today? thats nothing. Its gunna be a beautiful night in WESTPORT!

Im working on getting this album recorded. Its just gunna take some time to make it happen. I think it will be so..I will..."make it so" So tomorrow night is the SEX SHOP...this will be interesting. How can LUCASCOOKUS at a SEX SHOP not be an interesting combo? SPeaking of interesting. Caldwell hooked up yet another really cool thing..or two actually. . . if you go to the myspace page you will see that AWESOME promo he designed and its really cool. Then, earlier this week set up a stat counter. I have people coming to my site from east coast to west coast. That oughta get this roller coaster back up hill!

Austin Music runs the gamut from jazz, blues, and country to rock, hip-hop, and derivations of these and other genres.

Sidecar Pub in Houston was what I should have expected but somehow...i.e. roller coaster, I had hopes that this would be one of those shows where I amaze myself and the crowd and get off stage in the best mood ive been in all day. Get drunk, a little stoned and make out with a hottie. However, as it turns out the band that was supposed to headline, drawing 300+ cancelled three weeks before the show. Thanks to the venue for booking another act to headline...ummmm NO that didn't happen. It is to be expected busting into a new market.
